Invisalign is made out of plastic that’s soft enough not to hurt your mouth, but strong enough to gently shift your teeth. When they’re on, they’re practically invisible. There’s no wires, rubber bands, or anything else remotely visible to others involved. Each aligner is only worn for a one-to-two-week time frame, and appointments are only needed every eight to twelve weeks to pick up your next sets of aligners.
Because of the convenience of being able to remove your aligners before each meal, you do not have to worry about the hassle of food getting stuck between your teeth, as with traditional braces. Aligners can be removed to eat, drink, or brush your teeth.
